Reconstructie

The opera Reconstructie is a morality which Louis Andriessen composed together with Reinbert de Leeuw, Misha Mengelberg, Peter Schat and Jan van Vlijmen. The libretto was written by Hugo Claus and Harry Mulisch. It premiered during the Holland Festival in 1969. The opera is an ode to Che Guevara, based on the story of Mozart’s Don Giovanni.
